Job Description

As a Cinema Manager you will need to be a dynamic and hands on person. The role of a Cinema Manager is to manage the day-to-day running of the site, playing a key part in the successful delivery of the cinema’s commercial objectives, no two days will ever be the same! One day you could be programming what films we are going to show and the next you could be dealing with health and safety. As the role is different every day you need to be able to adapt quickly and rise to every challenge. Our management team take real pride in our cinema operation and are passionate about delighting guests. They enjoy the challenge of coordinating the team, products, and tasks, ensuring that our guests get a magical experience every time!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop an engaged and well trained team.

• Ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times

• Stock Control

• Cash reconciliation

• Addressing and resolving customer complaints

• Recruitment, induction and training

• Coaching Team Leaders and Team Members

Experience Required

Previous management experience in a customer-facing, fast-paced business within the retail, hospitality or leisure sector (previous cinema experience preferred but not essential)

• Have proven experience managing and driving sales and performance and have a natural ability to build rapport with customers

• Be an enthusiastic, charismatic, self –motivated and proactive individual, with a real passion for film and the cinema industry

• Able to work early (7am start) and late shifts (3am finish) on a rota basis across all 7 days of the week
