Cinema Manager
Job Description
As a Cinema Manager, you will use your existing experience to ensure the smooth running of the cinema. This diverse role will see you managing the commercial aspects of the cinema. In addition to this, you will be highly visible providing a superior level of customer service and leading the team to deliver an unrivalled cinema experience. You'll be responsible for a team including Assistant Manager, Supervisors, Customer Service Assistants and Cleaners. Customer service and cleanliness is our top priority to ensure that our customers have the best possible cinema experience. You will take the lead across a number of areas ranging from concessions and admissions to HR and projection.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing leadership across all aspects of the cinema
Working to deadlines
Dealing with a number of tasks at the same time
Driving concession sales
Ensuring compliance with company guidelines
Communicating targets and objectives
Train team members and ensure their development
Cash management responsibilities
Experience Required
Previous management experience in a customer-facing, fast-paced business within the retail, hospitality or leisure sector (previous cinema experience preferred but not essential)
Have proven experience in handling cash, analysing problems, identifying strategies.
Be able to deal with conflicting priorities whilst maintaining a professional, adaptable and flexible commitment to providing best customer experience.
Have experience of managing volume and large teams.
Have experience of managing and driving sales and performance and have a natural ability to build rapport with all stakeholders.
