Assistant Manager

Our client is looking for an Assistant Manager in their Flagship cinema who will support the team in running the fantastic events they host, providing a great customer experience! You are essentially second in command, feel the power running through your veins!

Previous experience in working in cinemas is not required, as long as the candidate is passionate about films.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to lead and motivate a large team of general assistants, support the management team in the operational side of the cinema and keep up with the volume of the many events they run. 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Support the management team in all aspects of the cinema’s operations on a day-to-day basis ensuring that your venue delivers an exceptional customer experience.

  • Have a pro-active, can do attitude in delivering the best customer experience by maintaining high standards

  • Act as a point of escalation for any customer queries.

  • Support the General Manager in the recruitment, training and induction of new cinema staff

  • Provide feedback and training to the team to drive team development.

  • Effectively direct, lead and motivate the team when in charge.

We are looking for:

  • A proven track record of leading a team to provide top class customer service at all times.

  • Solid commercial acumen and demonstrable success in delivering against KPIs.

  • Strong communication skills, confidence and natural leadership.

  • Experience of working in a management role in a similar customer service or hospitality environment

  • And of course a genuine and demonstrable interest and passion for film and cinema
